Apprentice Lineman - Transmission

Timberline Construction Inc. (FB Timberline) is seeking multiple Apprentice Lineman (full time, temporary) to support the operations team at our Sage Mill construction project, in Aiken, South Carolina. The duration of this project will be until October 2025.

The Apprentice Lineman under the guidance and direction of the Foreman or Construction Manager, will assist in the construction and maintenance of power systems, and replaces or repairs defective power lines, sub-stations and accessories. The successful candidate(s) will have prior experience in powerline construction or construction and familiarity with framing, setting, stringing, bundling and steel monopole construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair transmission powerlines
• Assist with foundation installation of various designs
• Assist with framing various designs of transmission towers
• Assist with the erections of various tower design
• Assist with all stringing activities for transmission powerlines
• Adhere to Forbes Bros Occupational Health and Safety rules and regulations
• Perform other tasks related to this function as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum one (1) + years' experience working in transmission powerline construction, is required
• Valid and current Commercial driver license (CDL), is required
• Able and willing to travel to various work and project sites as required
• Ability to work at heights in varying climates
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions and environments, inclusive of heavy lifting
• Ability to work as a member of a dynamic team and adapt to changing tasks and locations
