Lineman (ISP)

Lineman (ISP) (MDY-2024-20560):

Bowhead seeks to network with a Lineman (ISP) for an upcoming proposal effort at Moody AFB, GA. 

Essential functions will include: 

• Install and test all cable and components and provide record test results, IAW accepted industry standards.
• Install electrical and communications cable, conduits, and circuits IAW the NEC.
• Clearly label each end of every individual cable in accordance with the floor plans or engineering drawings at time of install.
• Provide and place cable tags (labels) that are durable and legible.
• When use of aerial cables is approved, installation and test shall be IAW accepted industry standards, unless superseded by a Government approved IS. The
• Other duties as assigned

• Must have a minimum five (5) years' experience with copper and fiber, to install and configure all the components for OSP (e.g., fiber, manholes, duct, building entries, trenching, digging, construction, external cabling, etc.).
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
